We collect only what is necessary to operate the site:

  • Email address — when you sign up for the UK AI Toolkit or our newsletter.
  • Usage data — anonymised analytics (page views, referrers) via privacy-respecting tools. No cross-site tracking.
  • Technical data — standard server logs (IP address, browser type, timestamps) retained for up to 30 days for security purposes.

We do not collect payment information, sell personal data, or use advertising trackers.

3. How we use your data

  • To send you the UK AI Toolkit and any newsletter editions you requested.
  • To improve the site using aggregated, anonymised analytics.
  • To maintain security and prevent abuse.

Legal basis: Legitimate interest (security logs) and consent(email communications). You may withdraw consent at any time.

4. Data retention

Email addresses are retained until you unsubscribe. Server logs are deleted after 30 days. Analytics data is aggregated and does not identify individuals.

6. Third-party services

We use the following third-party services:

  • Vercel — hosting and edge delivery (servers in EU/UK)
  • Loops.so — email delivery (data processed in the EU)

These providers are bound by data processing agreements and comply with UK GDPR.

7. Cookies

This site uses only essential cookies required for the site to function. We do not use tracking, advertising, or analytics cookies that require consent.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site evolves. Material changes will be noted at the top of this page with a revised date. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
